HAMR on ABC Radio - How do we turn forestry residues into aviation & shipping fuel?
Are you interested in how HAMR Energy is working with the forestry industry to turn forestry residues into low carbon fuel?
HAMR Energy Co-founder David Stribley recently joined Nathan Paine, CEO of the South Australian Forestry Products Association on ABC South East radio to discuss regional Australia's economic opportunity in low carbon fuels.
So, how do we turn forestry residue into a renewable fuel for ships and jets? Nathan explained it perfectly; The forestry industry currently has wood residues (e.g. slash, limbs, and needles) that are often underutilised. He noted, "...that's the stuff we have a massive opportunity with HAMR Energy to use that to convert into a renewable sustainable alternative fuel.
A huge thank you to Nathan for his ongoing support and to Narelle Graham and ABC South East for having us live on air. You can listen to the full interview here.
