Project Shearwater
Project Shearwater is HAMR Energy’s fully integrated forestry-to-fuel program, uniting biomass pre-processing at Myamyn in Victoria’s Green Triangle with methanol and jet fuel production at Port Adelaide, South Australia. Together, the two facilities convert 600,000 tonnes of forestry residue and renewable hydrogen into 300,000 tonnes of low-carbon methanol and 140 million litres of sustainable aviation fuel each year, abating approximately 360,000 tonnes of CO₂e.
